Soccer Recap: Golden Sierra Takes a Loss

Golden Sierra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 9-0 to the Highlands Scots. If the Grizzlies were looking for revenge after losing 9-1 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Golden Sierra's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Highlands, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Golden Sierra will head out to square off against Mesa Verde at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highlands, they will venture away from home to face off against Lindhurst at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Highlands has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 20 goals over their last three games.
