Football Game Preview: Asotin vs. Kittitas/Thorp

Asotin will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Kittitas/Thorp at 6:00 PM. Asotin have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.

If Asotin were riding high off their 37-15 takedown of Kellogg two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Asotin were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last Friday, as they fell 26-30 to Reardan. Asotin's defeat came about despite a quality game from senior Josh Wilkinson, who passed for 235 yards and 3 touchdowns. Wilkinson has now scored at least one touchdown in the past 3 games.

Meanwhile, Kittitas/Thorp found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-27 punch to the gut against DeSales.

With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
