It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Camden Central ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They skirted past the Milan Bulldogs 6-5. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Camden Central pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Milan, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-5.

Coming up, Camden Central will head out on the road to face off against Waverly Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Milan, they will square off against Lake County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
