Basketball Recap: Lenoir City Takes a Loss

Lenoir City suffered their biggest loss since February 3rd on Thursday. They were outmatched by the Heritage Mountaineers and fell 59-17. The Panthers have struggled against the Mountaineers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meetings.

Lenoir City's defeat dropped their record down to 9-20. As for Heritage, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-9 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Lenoir City Panthers challenge Tullahoma Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Lenoir City will need to watch out since Tullahoma has now posted at least 55 points in their last 11 games. As for Heritage, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Upperman. Upperman knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matchups -- so hopefully Heritage likes a good challenge.
