Bayside Academy not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 23, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the St. Michael Catholic Cardinals as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Admirals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bayside Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-21.

Bayside Academy found their leader in freshman Ansley Weller, who had 13 digs and one assist.

Bayside Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 11 consecutive games.

Bayside Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for St. Michael Catholic, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Looking ahead, Bayside Academy will be playing at home against Fairhope at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. Michael Catholic, they will head out on the road to take on Daphne at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
