Recap: DSST: College View Wolves vs. Sheridan Rams
The DSST: College View Wolves won the last time they faced the Sheridan Rams, and things went their way on Saturday too. Everything went DSST: College View's way against Sheridan as DSST: College View made off with a 77-53 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for DSST: College View.
Isaias Tomita continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with 6 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of DSST: College View's points. Josue Tomita was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Bobby Garcia and Armando Monarrez certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Garcia scored 22 points, while Monarrez scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds. Garcia scored a full 41.5% of Sheridan's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Gabriel Hernandez , who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds.
DSST: College View's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Sheridan, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DSST: College View will face off against Dawson School at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sheridan is on the road again on Saturday and play against Estes Park at 2:00 p.m. on December 9th.
