Volleyball Recap: Walnut Ridge Comes Up Short

The Walnut Ridge Scots came up short against the Licking Heights Hornets on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Scots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-8, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Evan Boren, who had five aces and three digs. That's the most aces he has posted since back in March of 2025.

Walnut Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Licking Heights, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-15.

Looking ahead, Walnut Ridge will challenge Columbus International at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Licking Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
