San Lorenzo put another one in the bag  on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Redwood Christian Eagles with a sharp  9-2 victory. While the Grizzlies didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
 Rogelio Hernandez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out eight batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  scoring four  runs and  stealing  Two bases. while going 3-for-3. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in April of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Marco Nunez was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. Another player making a difference was  David Pena, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  RBI.
 San Lorenzo  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .571. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an  OBP of .512 or higher in eight consecutive  matchups  dating back to last season.
San Lorenzo pushed their record up to 7-0 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Redwood Christian,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 4-2.
 Coming up, San Lorenzo will venture away from home to  face off against Tennyson  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Redwood Christian, they will challenge St. Joseph Notre Dame at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
