Oak Ridge had won five straight games and Jack Reynolds did his part to make it six on Monday. The Oak Ridge Trojans were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Granite Bay Grizzlies which was due in part to Reynolds, who had six kills, six digs, and two blocks. He has been hot for a while, having also posted 14 or more assists the last 17 times he's played.

While Oak Ridge won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 26-24, 25-20.

Oak Ridge's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Granite Bay, they moved to 5-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Oak Ridge is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will take on Whitney at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Granite Bay, they will welcome Davis Sr. at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
