Basketball Recap: Flowery Branch's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

If Flowery Branch was feeling good fresh off their 85-62 takedown of East Jackson on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons took a 67-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jefferson Dragons on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Dragons: they've now lost four in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Flowery Branch fell to 5-1. As for Jefferson, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Flowery Branch and Jefferson will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Falcons see the court they'll take on Johnson at 8:30 p.m. on December 5. As for Jefferson, their break will end when they face Banks County at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
