Sanford waltzed into their contest on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They breezed by the South Park Burros to the tune of 46-16. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Burros, too.

Despite the loss, South Park still got an impressive performance from Trinity Walker, who posted six points along with five rebounds and five steals. Walker has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubri Charles, who had four points and five boards.

Sanford's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for South Park, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-3 record.

Sanford will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinidad on Friday. Sanford's defense has only allowed 24.8 points per game this season, so Trinidad's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for South Park, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-13 victory against Cripple Creek-Victor on the 27th.
