Baseball Recap: ABF Academy Homestead Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for ABF Academy Homestead's offense. They lost 9-0 to the Calvary Christian Academy Eagles on Wednesday. The Bandits just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

ABF Academy Homestead saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justin Martina, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

ABF Academy Homestead's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Calvary Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-9-3.

Coming up, ABF Academy Homestead will square off against Coral Shores at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bandits' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hurricanes have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they will challenge Pompano Beach at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
