Baseball Recap: Westinghouse Comes Up Short

Westinghouse was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Van Arsdale Cardinals, falling 19-2.

Westinghouse's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Van Arsdale, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.

Van Arsdale will be playing in front of their home fans against Bushwick at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Westinghouse will be paying especially close attention to the Cardinals' game: after the Cardinals face off against the Tigers, they'll take on Westinghouse again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
