Volleyball Recap: Santa Fe Christian Takes a Loss

Santa Fe Christian lost against La Costa Canyon back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles fell just short of the Mavericks by a score of 3-2.

Santa Fe Christian actually scored more points across those five sets (104-102), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 22-25, 13-25, 25-18, 15-11.

Santa Fe Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for La Costa Canyon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Santa Fe Christian will challenge Desert Oasis at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for La Costa Canyon, they will head out to challenge Fallbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
