Recap: Randolph County Tigers vs. Dadeville Tigers
After losing to The Dadeville Tigers the last time they met, the Randolph County Tigers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Randolph County came out on top against Dadeville by a score of 32-22 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Randolph County.
Randolph County found their leader in underclassman Maurice Winston, who gained 127 total yards and three touchdowns. Avion Willis was another key contributor, throwing for 179 yards and a touchdown while completing 80% of his passes.
Despite the defeat, Dadeville saw an underclassman step up: Brandez Eason rushed for 130 yards and three touchdowns. Eason hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for seven straight games.
Randolph County's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Dadeville, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Randolph County will square off against Ranburne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dadeville, they will head out on the road to face off against Wicksburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
