Meridian proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by 51) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 34-33 win over the Beal City Aggies. The 34-point effort marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meridian is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season. The defeat snapped Beal City's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 13-11 record.

As of now, neither Meridian nor Beal City have any future games scheduled.
