Basketball Game Preview: Sevastopol Pioneers vs. Kewaunee Storm

Sevastopol hasn't had much luck against Kewaunee recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Sevastopol Pioneers will head out to face off against the Kewaunee Storm at 7:00 p.m.

Sevastopol is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 73-44 loss at the hands of Algoma. While losing is never fun, the Pioneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 380th, while the Wolves are ranked 135th).

Meanwhile, Kewaunee beat Sturgeon Bay 65-58 on Thursday.

Sevastopol's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Kewaunee, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Sevastopol was dealt a bruising 77-37 loss at the hands of Kewaunee in their previous meeting back in January. Can Sevastopol avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
