Basketball Game Preview: Rock Academy Warriors vs. School for Entrepreneurship & Technology Lions

After both having extra time off, the Rock Academy Warriors and the School for Entrepreneurship & Technology Lions will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Rock Academy is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home last Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 29-26 victory over Mar Vista.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rock Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nevaeha Noguera, who posted eight points in addition to 14 rebounds and four steals. Those 14 boards gave Noguera a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Laila Varner, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, School for Entrepreneurship & Technology didn't have too much trouble with Calexico Mission last Thursday as they won 31-15.

School for Entrepreneurship & Technology's win came from a few key players Rock Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Malia Edwards, who had nine points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Fatima Wheeler, who put up ten points.
