Weston waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with an 8-3 win over the Hamburg Lions.

The team relied heavily on Bryce Zehr, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Browning, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Weston hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most three strikeouts in three consecutive contests.

Weston's record is now 11-5. As for Hamburg, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Weston will welcome Downsville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hamburg, they will host DeWitt at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
