Volleyball Game Preview: Ansley/Litchfield Spartans vs. Pleasanton Bulldogs

Ansley/Litchfield is 0-10 against Pleasanton since October of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Spartans will face off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Pleasanton took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Ansley/Litchfield, who comes in off a win.

Ansley/Litchfield is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest win since September 23rd on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Loomis.

Ansley/Litchfield had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 26-24, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Pleasanton came up short against Amherst on Thursday and fell 2-0. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Broncos recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-7.

Ansley/Litchfield's win bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Pleasanton, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.
