Basketball Game Preview: Oakwood Panthers vs. Coolidge Yellowjackets

The Oakwood Panthers will start their season against the Coolidge Yellowjackets. Tip off is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Coolidge's tournament run continued when they took on Granger on Saturday. Coolidge snuck past Granger with a 54-50 win.

Coolidge's victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

As for Oakwood, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the wrong side of .500 (11-18), but they'll be hoping to turn things around this year.

Things could have been worse for Oakwood, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 42-27 loss to Coolidge in their previous meeting back in January.
