Prairie State recap November 5, 2013
Austin Chausse of Nokomis/Ramsey ran for the longest rushing play in Prairie State this season against Athens/Greenview last week. Chausse ran for 80 yards on the play and finished with 199 on the day as his team fell to the Warriors.
Mt. Olive lost to Brown County 48-19 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Nokomis/Ramsey's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Luke Hamlin threw for 130 and 2 touchdowns and Chausse had 81 yards receiving. On the ground Chausse contributed 199 yards. Silas Kirk helped Nokomis/Ramsey's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 20 yards.

Chausse provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Redskins fell to Ryan Knox's team. Chausse's favorite target this week was Chausse, who caught 3 passes for 81 yards.
6-foot-1 quarterback Jacob Neihaus of the Wildcats is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,321. He has also thrown 23 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Will Rankin. The Metro-East Lutheran star has 32 catches for 872 yards.
Marquette Catholic made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,993 from 10,051. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 20-14 victory over the Explorers last week.
