GV Christian has gone 7-1 against Laughlin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The GV Christian Guardians will head out on the road to challenge the Laughlin Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Meanwhile, Laughlin suffered their biggest defeat since February 2, 2024 on Tuesday. They took a blow against Needles, falling 85-38. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 93rd in Nevada, while the Mustangs are ranked 15th in California).

Laughlin has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for GV Christian, they dropped their record down to 9-15 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Everything came up roses for GV Christian against Laughlin when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured an 81-42 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for GV Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
