Softball Recap: Oak Hills Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Oak Hills and Harvard-Westlake squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Oak Hills had to settle for second. They fell 8-5 to the Wolverines. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

KAYLA CAZARES and JADE WHITMAN stepped up to the plate in a big way. CAZARES went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double, while WHITMAN got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was SIENNA GARCIA, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs.

Oak Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Harvard-Westlake, their win bumped their record up to 16-7.

Oak Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Harvard-Westlake, they are taking a road trip to face off against Foothill at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday.
