Zach Marriott Game Report: vs West Port

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Zach Marriott stepped things up a notch to give Santa Fe the 'W'. Marriott turned in nothing short of a gem, tossing four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits.

Looking ahead, Marriott and Santa Fe will head out to take on Buchholz at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Marriott has dominated as far as earned runs are concerned (he's averaged 1 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering the Bobcats have only allowed 7.67 per game this season.
