Riverside entered their tilt with Twin Loup on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with eight. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Twin Loup Wolves 59-29. The Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 23 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Riverside to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dane Schalk, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Larry Diessner, who posted nine points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
Riverside was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Twin Loup only five assists.
Despite the loss, Twin Loup had strong showings from Yahya Harris, who put up 11 points and three steals, and Grant Ottun, who scored four points. Harris is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last four games he's played.
Riverside's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Twin Loup, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-7.
Riverside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 74-57 loss against Central Valley on the 27th. Twin Loup does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
