Football Recap: Silverado's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cimarron-Memorial, Silverado was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They never let the Spring Valley Grizzlies onto the board and left with a 13-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Skyhawks as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Silverado's win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-7. As for Spring Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Silverado will face off against Palo Verde at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Spring Valley, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Canyon Springs at 4:30 p.m.
