Volleyball Recap: Metro-East Lutheran Falls to Hillsboro in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Metro-East Lutheran unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the Hillsboro Hiltoppers on Monday.

While Metro-East Lutheran was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22.

Hillsboro found their leader in freshman Bailey Chappelear, who had 11 digs and one assist.

Metro-East Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Collinsville on the 26th. As for Hillsboro, they will take on Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
