Soccer Recap: Jeffersonville vs. Floyd Central
With a playoff game on the line, Jeffersonville rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Floyd Central Highlanders. The Red Devils' winning goal came courtesy of Elijah Cheeks.
The victory made it two in a row for Jeffersonville and bumps their season record up to 6-10-2. As for Floyd Central, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7-3.
Jeffersonville is on the road again on Saturday to play Seymour at 7:00 p.m. Seymour is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season. Floyd Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
