Even though the Immanuel Eagles scored an imposing 58 points on Thursday, the Sunnyside Wildcats still came out on top. Sunnyside took their match against Immanuel 66-58. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Sunnyside also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

Sunnyside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Malachi Barnes, who scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Tanner Wilson, who scored 17 points.

The win makes it two in a row for Sunnyside and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Immanuel, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Sunnyside will head out on the road to face off against Dinuba at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Dinuba has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 406 points over their last six matches. Immanuel won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Hanford West at 6:30 p.m. on December 8th. Hanford West is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
