Basketball Recap: Parkview Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

While Parkview didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They wrapped up 2024 with a 49-34 victory over the Lake Howell Silverhawks. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parkview to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kennedi Benton, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards. The matchup was Benton's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jaden Cooper, who went 7 of 14 en route to 16 points and four steals.

Parkview's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Lake Howell, their loss dropped their record down to 11-2.

Parkview will face off against Social Circle at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Lake Howell, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 55-51 defeat against Hilliard on the 28th.
