Recap: Grace Christian Warriors vs. Roanoke Valley Christian EAGLES
The Grace Christian Warriors were the 62-52 winner over the Roanoke Valley Christian EAGLES when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Grace Christian took a hard 56-42 fall against Roanoke Valley Christian on Tuesday.
Justin Hain and Davis Reid certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Hain scored 24 points along with five rebounds, while Reid scored 14 points along with five assists and two blocks. Reid has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last five times he's played.
Grace Christian's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5. As for Roanoke Valley Christian, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 14-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grace Christian will take on Blue Ridge Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Virginia (Blue Ridge Christian is ranked 256th, while Grace Christian is ranked 268th). As for Roanoke Valley Christian, they will be playing at home against Faith Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Faith Christian is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
