On Friday, Zane Trace faced Southeastern in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Zane Trace Pioneers strolled past the Southeastern Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 49-34. The Pioneers' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Zane Trace was led to victory by Gunnar Mccullough and Grady Stewart. Mccullough almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine boards, while Stewart went 7 of 10 on his way to 19 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ezra Rippeth, who posted five points and five rebounds.

Zane Trace's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Southeastern, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Zane Trace and Paint Valley will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Zane Trace is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.3 points per game this season. As for Southeastern, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 56-44 win against Alexander on the 14th.
