Princess Anne has gone 4-0 against Indian River recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Princess Anne Cavaliers will head out on the road to face off against the Indian River Braves at 5:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Princess Anne beat First Colonial 83-79. Given the Cavaliers' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Patriots are ranked 243rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Indian River put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They managed a 60-55 victory over Hickory. The 60-point effort marked the Braves' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Indian River's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Princess Anne, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

Princess Anne didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Indian River in their previous matchup back in February of 2017, but they still walked away with a 70-64 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Princess Anne since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
