Basketball Recap: McFarland Takes a Loss

McFarland entered their match against Ridgeview on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The McFarland Cougars were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 64-63 to the Ridgeview Wolf Pack. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McFarland's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5. As for Ridgeview, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

McFarland and Mira Monte will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. McFarland is facing Mira Monte at the right time seeing as Mira Monte is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Ridgeview, they and Foothill will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Ridgeview knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Foothill likes a good challenge.
