Waldron dropped down to 5-2 on Friday, ending the team's five-game streak of wins. They took a blow against the Lenawee Christian Cougars, falling 63-22. The contest marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Although Waldron took the loss, they still got scores from Isaac Fether, Troy Shamplo, and Seth Williams.

As for Lenawee Christian, they now have a winning record of 4-3. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won four games by 34 points or more so far this season.

A big part of Lenawee Christian's victory came down to the chemistry between Elijah Lutz and his top target Judah Marine. Lutz gained 82 total yards while Marine threw for 178 yards and three TDs while completing 72.2% of his passes.

Waldron will face off against Pittsford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lenawee Christian, they will take on Concord at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will be up against the Yellowjackets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
