Volleyball Recap: Perry-Lecompton Kaws vs. Hays Indians
Perry-Lecompton's tournament run continued when they took on Hays on Saturday. The Kaws fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-1.
Macie Corcoran paced Perry-Lecompton's offense, picking up 16 kills. Corcoran got some help from Emmy Reed and her 32 assists. Reed was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
Hays found their leader in freshman Gianna Offutt, who had seven digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Offutt. Sylvia Johnson also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.
