Baseball Recap: Chireno Comes Up Short at Home Against Lovelady

Chireno unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Lovelady Lions on Monday, falling 12-0.

Chireno saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Benji Blount, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chireno will take on West Sabine at 7:00 p.m. on February 24th. As for Lovelady, they will challenge Woden at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
