Chapin has won three straight games at home, while Canutillo has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Huskies will welcome the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Chapin came out on top against Jefferson on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive 12-run fourth inning. The Huskies were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Silver Foxes.

Chapin got a big performance out of Julian Flores, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Flores is becoming a predictor of the Huskies' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 9-2 (and 5-8-1 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Beckett Babb, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Chapin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. They are undefeated (5-0) when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Canutillo gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They put the hurt on Burges with a sharp 13-3 victory.
Emilio Melendez made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ashton Dupri, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Paul Zuniga, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Chapin's win bumped their record up to 14-10-1. As for Canutillo, their victory bumped their record up to 16-8-1.
Friday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Chapin hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .361. However, it's not like Canutillo struggles in that department as they've averaged .359. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
