Softball Recap: Belmont Comes Up Short

Belmont fell victim to Gilford and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 8-0 to the Golden Eagles. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Red Raiders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Belmont now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Gilford, they pushed their record up to 3-3 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
