Baseball Recap: Centennial Coyotes vs. Nogales Apaches

Centennial won the last time they faced Nogales and things went their way on Monday too. The Coyotes came out on top against the Apaches by a score of 6-1.

Cohen Baack was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI.

In other batting news, JT Price was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Bobby Villa III, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
