Baseball Recap: Poynette Comes Up Short

The Poynette Pumas came up short against the Boyceville Bulldogs on Friday and fell 6-3.

Justin Wells made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Poynette's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Poynette will square off against Hayward at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Boyceville, they will challenge Elk Mound at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
