Volleyball Recap: St. Peter Comes Up Short

St. Peter was the 3-0 winner over Austin when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Saints fell just short of the Packers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Peter started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 11-25, 19-25, 25-18, 25-16, 15-8.

St. Peter's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

St. Peter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Willmar on the 28th. As for Austin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Esko on the 30th.
