After a string of eight wins, Bishop Canevin's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of the Steel Valley Ironmen by a score of 8-6.
Kellen Andruscik made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Bishop Canevin's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4. As for Steel Valley, their win bumped their record up to 4-12.
