Soccer Recap: Gallatin Falls Short Against Ranked Summit

Gallatin faced Summit in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Green Wave lost 7-1 to the Spartans. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Gallatin were already down 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Skylar High, who's now up to six this season.

Gallatin's loss dropped their record down to 6-3-3. As for Summit, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1.

Gallatin didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-1 victory against White House on the 7th. As for Summit, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-0 win against Centennial on the 13th.
