Basketball Recap: Worthington Kilbourne Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Worthington Kilbourne can now relate to. They took a 59-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westerville Central Warhawks on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 59-52 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2018.

Worthington Kilbourne has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season. The victory made it two in a row for Westerville Central and bumps their season record up to 11-13.

Worthington Kilbourne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westerville Central, they will square off against Westerville North at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Westerville North will roll in looking for their 21st straight win, something Westerville Central surely won't give up without a fight.
