Flowers is 7-1 against Suitland since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Jaguars will take on the Rams at 2:00 p.m. Flowers is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

If Flowers beats Suitland with 35 points on Saturday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Jaguars simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Potomac 35-7. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won six matchups by 22 points or more so far this season.

Kodi Gardner continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 184 yards and four scores while picking up 11.5 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 67 yards.

Another reason for the win was Flowers' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. Tyger Williams was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. Flowers got some further help from Gabriel Amadi: he picked up a sack, forced two fumbles, and made four total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, Suitland suffered their biggest defeat since November 15, 2024 on Friday. They were outmatched by Wise and fell 38-6. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Pumas: they've now lost nine in a row.

Suitland's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-2. As for Flowers, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.

Everything came up roses for Flowers against Suitland when the teams last played back in October of 2022, as the team secured a 36-0 win. Do the Jaguars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
