Volleyball Recap: Corsica/Stickney Wins Going Away Against Andes Central/Dakota Christian

Corsica/Stickney won the last time they faced Andes Central/Dakota Christian and things went their way on Monday too. The Jaguars put the hurt on Andes Central/Dakota Christian with a sharp 3-0 win.

Corsica/Stickney was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18, 25-17.

Sophie Delange paced Corsica/Stickney's offense, picking up 17 kills. Delange were helped by Remi Nelson and Braylee Bordewyk, who contributed 13 assists each. Nelson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Corsica/Stickney's victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 14-8. As for Andes Central/Dakota Christian, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

Coming up, Corsica/Stickney will venture away from home to face off against Freeman at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Andes Central/Dakota Christian, after both having extra time off, they and Burke will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
