Football Recap: Coastal Christian Comes Up Short

Coastal Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Kings Christian Crusaders, falling 36-12. The Conquerors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Coastal Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Kings Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coastal Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Valley Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on October 4. As for Kings Christian, they will square off against Trinity Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
