Softball Recap: Bakersfield Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

There's no place like home for Bakersfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Rosamond Roadrunners 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Drillers have posted since May 7, 2024.

Aniyah Gordon was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Teriahna Robertson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Gordon wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Bakersfield kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
